Hi! I’m Veronica,

the face (and hands!) behind the cookies at getbakedmtl.

In 2016 I came across on a cookie decorating video on Facebook and I was obsessed! I had to try it for myself. What started out as a creative outlet of making cookies for family and friends eventually turned into Veronica’s Sweets!

In August 2024, my basement, where I operate my cookie business (and lived), completely flooded with over 5 feet of water and I lost everything. It was really hard to process.

This is the longest I’ve been away since re-launching and rebranding Veronica’s Sweets (now getbakedmtl) in 2020. On top of renovations, I had to essentially restart my entire business from zero.

However, almost an entire YEAR later, I’m happy to announce that I am finally back! I’m so excited to be taking orders again!
